Ci sembrava dovuto un omaggio ai “The Roots”. Per la loro musica? Prima di tutto, ma anche perché, lo avrete notato, il nome della “Track of the Day” in questione è praticamente il nome della nostra rubrica di cinema. Pass The Popcorn è datata 1993, anno di uscita di Organix, l’album di debutto dei “The Roots”. Sound vero, acustico, per un genere che tende all’alternative ma che in realtà è hip-hop. Un sound, insomma, che negli anni ci ha fatto amare Questlove e Co.
